On Friday, July 4th, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at the Augusta Wisconsin Lions Field, the arena will come alive with the thunder of hooves and the cheers of the crowd. This is a chance to experience a time-honored tradition that celebrates the bond between humans and these powerful draft horses.
While you're here enjoying the festive atmosphere of Bean & Bacon Days, you can also take a nostalgic ride on the Old Fashioned Stagecoach (starting at 10 AM) and satisfy your hunger with delicious offerings from the Augusta Lions Club Food Stand.
Lawn chairs are encouraged and often ring the Horse Pulling Arena (Augusta Lions Field), and bleachers are available, but they tend to fill up quickly. Arriving early is recommended to secure a good viewing spot.
